Indirect Vector Control for Five-Phase Asynchronous Generator Using Three Level Rectifier in Wind Energy Systems

Five-phase induction generators in variable-speed wind energy systems are a focus of this study, and unique method regulating them utilizing indirect vector control is proposed systems. Grid-side regulation handled by two-level converter, whereas machine-side five-phase three-level converter. There five electrically distinct phases ASG, each one 720 apart. More power can be generated the same machine frame with configuration than normal three-phase generator, system also more stable sturdier. In order to connect ASIG grid, voltage source converters (VSCs) must employed. A mathematical analysis suggested performed, simulation results MATLAB/ SIMULINK software package account for various ramps speed. The findings reveal decrease low harmonic distortion injected grid currents, leading reduction harmonics stator currents increase overall efficiency asynchronous generator.
